Family Access Center (Council Bluffs)

Welcome to the Family Access Center! We offer the following services and support for children, adolescents, and adults.

Substance Use Assessment and Treatment We look at and individual's alcohol and drug use and the resulting harm to a person's health. This includes their well-being, relationships, and productivity.

Mental Health Therapy A strength-based approach to alleviating symptoms, stress and strengthening families.

Behavioral Health Intervention Services (BHIS) For individuals with disruptions in their daily living related to their mental health.

Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)A specialized therapeutic tool that helps caregivers learn behavior management techniques.

Eye Movement Reprocessing and Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) This approach helps individuals work through past memories, present issues, and future actions.

Supervised Visitation:We supervise visits to observe the interaction between parent and child. Many times, parents who use drugs and alcohol have court ordered supervised visitation.

Iowa Domestic Abuse Program (IDAP)This program helps individuals make changes in their choices. Learning from their past and engaging in behaviors consistent with their personal values.

Family Access Center offers separate groups for male and female clients.
