Iowa has had its share of traumatic events that have affected many of us, including our students. Know that YLI is at the ready to provide free and confidential support and information. No matter what life might throw their way.
In June 2023, House File 602 went into effect. This law requires school student ID cards statewide to include YLI contact information. This applies to all student ID cards issued after July 1, 2023, statewide for students in grades 7-12. It is optional for identification cards issued to students in grades 5 and 6.
YLI can help school administrators navigate this process. We can help get you prepared to talk your students about how YLI can help. Whether its concerns about gambling, mental health, substance use, suicide, or something else. Please see the information below for design templates, education information and more.
