Neurobehavioral Challenges in Acquired Brain Injury: Embracing the Challenge with Dignity

This presentation provides an overview of thought processes in the management of neurobehavioral challenges post ABI. It includes a reconceptualization of the traditional “behavior team / behavior plan” as “dignity team / dignity plan” and includes common challenges, thought processes, and specific interventions in both a theoretical and practical format. Case examples are provided.

The Iowa Board of Certification has approved the training for 1.0 CEU of Counseling Theories & Techniques.
