This workshop equips clinicians with essential sports betting terminology to better understand clients experiencing gambling-related issues. Participants will learn key concepts, common language, and betting structures, enhancing their ability to engage in informed conversations, assess risks, and provide effective support for individuals affected by problem gambling.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Define key sports betting terms.
  • Recognize betting structures and risk factors.
  • Enhance and equip for better client communication and support.

Dan is a lifelong NJ resident, has 3 kids, 2 of whom are 2nd year college students and one who is presently in 9th grade.
