Importance of Screening for Brain Injury in Behavioral Health Settings

Description

This session will review the incidences and prevalence rates of brain injury within the behavioral health community and the impact of providing brain injury informed services. Iowa's endorsed brain injury screening tool will be featured to include strategies to support implementation and access to the brain injury services program, neuro resource facilitation and Iowa Brian Injury Resource Network.

The Iowa Board of Certification has approved the training for 1.0 CEU of Counseling Theories & Techniques.

Participants will receive a certificate of attendance within 30 days of the webinar.
