CCAR Ethical Considerations for Recovery Coaches Training | Day 1

CCAR Ethical Considerations for Recovery Coaches

Full Circle Recovery will be facilitating the CCAR Ethical Considerations for Recovery Coaches Training. This three-day in person training will be held November 13-15, 2024 at 1750 48th Street, Des Moines.

This 16-hour training addresses this critical need. Based on the widely used Ethical Guidelines for the Delivery of Peer-based Recovery Support Services by William White and PRO-ACT (2007), we designed this training to help coaches, and anyone else working in the peer role, to understand how critical it is to be ethically responsible. Using presentations, small group work, and role play to address many areas including: defining the coaching service role and functions, coaching standards, issues of vulnerability, ethical decision making, performance enhancement and legal issues. This year we have added an additional half day of training, to allow for more opportunities to practice using relevant scenarios coaches may face on a daily basis.

Cost is $150 and limited to 30 participants.

Please feel free to reach out to Jodie Huju at jhuju@recoverfullcircle.org with any questions regarding this CCAR event.
