When You Call

Drug use can be hard to talk about.

People around you may not understand, and talking to them may be difficult or challenging. There is someone who does - the person at the other end of a call to Your Life Iowa. We won’t judge you. We listen. And we get you right to the help you need, wherever you are.

A skilled, trained crisis worker who works at Your Life Iowa will answer your call. This person will listen to you, understand how your problem is affecting you, provide support, and share resources that may be helpful. No matter what problems you’re dealing with, Your Life Iowa is here for you. People call to talk about lots of things: substance use, money problems, relationships, sexual identity, abuse, depression, mental and physical illness, and loneliness, to name a few.
