When You Call

Mental health is hard to talk about.

People around you may not understand and talking to them may be difficult or challenging. There is someone there for you – the person at the other end of a call to Your Life Iowa. We won’t judge you. We listen. What we discuss is confidential. We connect you to resources, wherever you are in Iowa.

A trained crisis worker who works at Your Life Iowa will answer your call. This person will listen to you, provide support, and share resources that may be helpful. No matter what problems you’re dealing with, Your Life Iowa is here for you. People call to talk about lots of things: substance use, money problems, relationships, sexual identity, abuse, depression, mental and physical illness, and loneliness to name a few.
