What are facts? 
Facts are information we use in discussing something of significance. Here are a few facts about how drugs and alcohol affect your family, your friends, your colleagues, your neighbors and your children in your state.
Data from the State of iowa Substance Use Epidemiological Profile show that in the last month, 25 percent of individuals aged 12 and older reported binge drinking. In Iowa, alcohol was the most reported substance of use among Iowans entering treatment. As of 2014, the Profile also shows that approximately five Iowans die per day from a condition associated with tobacco. In the 2016 evaluation from the Profile, around 80,000 Iowans reported illegal drug use in the last month.
